About Us
INDIA CHRISTIAN
FELLOWSHIP OF SEATTLE

ICF Mission statement

We are a group of Christians loving the Lord who first loved us,
committed to loving each other as Christ has commanded us
and united in our love for India and her people.

It is our mission to glorify God
by worshipping Him with one heart;
grow in Christian unity through fellowship and service to one another;
and be obedient to the word of God
and the guidance of the Holy Spirit
In establishing the Kingdom of God on earth.

History
India Christian Fellowship originated in the early 1970's as a weekly prayer meeting.  A group
of immigrants from India, many of them students at that time, felt the need for fellowship and a
forum for visiting Christian leaders from India to meet with the community. The early meetings
were conducted in homes.  As the numbers grew, it moved to the Friends Memorial Church
and the frequency became monthly.  In 1980, India Christian Fellowship was registered as a
charitable organization under section 501 C(3).

ICF is governed by a board and President.  Elections are conducted every year.  The President
cannot succeed himself/herself.    The term of a board member is 2 years.

Currently, ICF meets on the 4th Saturday of each month.  Besides the monthly meeting, ICF
organizes other events like Christmas Celebration, Easter Meeting and Retreats.
ICF is also engaged in activities like providing resources to poor people in India to
build houses and helping missions.
